Kara Valentine is a social impact entrepreneur, innovative thought leader, and devoted mother of two. She co-founded Threads Worldwide, a social enterprise that empowers women artisans globally by providing dignified, fair-trade work through artisan jewelry. By creating economic opportunities, Threads transforms lives and offers financial independence to women overcoming profound challenges. Kara also co-founded Backpack Dreams, an initiative that supports youth fundraisers with fair-trade goods crafted by disenfranchised women in the U.S. and abroad. The program educates children on social impact and ethical sourcing while funding youth programs. As a visionary behind the Elevation Ecosystem, Kara is reimagining leadership by fostering collaboration, inclusion, and collective elevation.
